为了可以吃鱼翅，每年有成千上万的鲨鱼，被捕获，切掉鳍，放回水中，等其死亡。

就像把一个人手脚切掉，再放他到水中一样。不是失血过多死，就是淹死。

抛开残忍的一面，因为弱肉强食的世界，总是有动物需要死，来维持其他动物的生存，例如猪，鸡，牛等动物。

但是作为奢侈品，鱼翅已经令鲨鱼濒临灭绝，海洋的生态环境和食物链已经遭到严重破坏。人除了图一时之快，是否还可以有些克制精神为以后着想呢？

所以大家还是不要吃鱼翅了。少买一碗，厨师少做一碗，采购少进货，便可以有鲨鱼，迟一些为此送命。

伊拉克，简易爆炸装置(IED)电子工程师

Abdallah，得知五角大楼派驻一个小组在麻省理工大学研究反IED的时候说：

我曾经想在MIT读个博士学位。如果我在那里，可能也在参加那个小组的工作呢。不过上天让我站在了这一边。
