2007/5/12 Flag of our Fathers / Letters from Iwo Jima之前看了Flag of our Fathers，通過硫黃島戰役，造就出來的幾個插旗英雄，講述的二次世界大戰美軍在榮耀的背後，一些所謂英雄士兵的辛酸，爲了幫國家，不光戰鬥在前綫，回國後還要幫國家籌集戰爭經費，倒頭來戰後並沒有受到優待，其中一個印第安人仍然還是受到白人歧視。
而Letters from Iwo Jima則講述日軍在同一場戰役中，被自己的國家抛棄，要求誓死保衛小島。其中很多人彈盡糧絕自殺，而指揮官曾是旅美，雖然自己和美國人沒有深仇大恨，但是爲了國家和天皇，則把自己投身到一場毫無意義的戰鬥中。最後總是被教育自己是優秀民族的日本小兵，發現其他國家的人，也和自己一樣，給家裏寫信，也是被家人惦念著，也是有血有肉有思想。其中有個憲兵，因爲不忍心執行殘忍的上級指令，被派到小島送死。後來兩個私自投降的日本兵也被美軍用私刑處死。
傳統的戰爭片，都是從一個角度拍攝，像Save Private Ryne，描述Ryne的家人，盟軍的軍隊，Tom Hanks和那群營救者的心情，當裏面的主要人物一個個被打死，觀衆會覺得，可惜可惜，但是他們射殺一個德軍的時候，大家也就會認爲，那只是個德軍。
而 Flag/Letter 則從戰爭的雙方進行描述，士兵也是人，他們也是有家庭，有父母，有妻兒。他們被當成國家的工具，從本來兩群毫不認識，毫無仇恨可言的人，因爲無知和所謂信仰進行互相的廝殺，直到一方的勝利，結果倒頭來才知道這場戰爭毫無疑義，又或被國家忽略，使大家可以反思戰爭的殘酷和無謂。 Trying XangaHave been trying Xanga these days... it is more simple, easy and faster to access.
it seems not to have as many functions as MSN spaces.
BUT, the most important functions that kept me using spaces are not working too well these days, like the photo album, it can't load photos completely sometimes, and the "yellow flower" beside each msn contact, I could not access it for the most of the times. And the old problems (spaces make your IE hang when closing the window) presists.
So overall, it sucks...
I thought of a JNU friend owen, he began to study blog related stuff a long time ago, hope he can make something good in this field...
2007/5/2 Band show night...
We had our first band show on 28/4/07 in imnet.org it is an organization that organize band shows for not-well-known underground bands. We, as one of them, came to the show mainly for fun. Many friends came to the show and, ya, thank you guys for all the screaming and supporting. I know that probably not everyone of you enjoyed the music coz it's quite loud... I copied some DVDs after the show and some people said, I really wanted to finish it but I just felt headache. Our band is called "chrome", Dennis, the singer suggested this for it's not hard to be remembered, it's a kind of metal (we mainly play heavy metal music), no one can think of a better one, so maybe we will use this name for a while. Well, thank all of you who came that night and also thanks to those people who finished our video even you feel headache about them... oh, we are having a msn space at Our youtube videos... |
